Channel Zero: No-End House 204 review
Feeling every bit like the nightmare it portrays, SyFy’s Channel Zero: No-End House “The Exit” was a haunting journey to the end of the House.
Good horror is at its best when there is just enough missing from the story to get the wheels turning in your head. Channel Zero: No-End House does exactly that as it plays out like a nightmare. At first glance nothing seems out of place, but little details act as a reminders that Margot and her companions are still trapped in the No-End House, with no exit in sight. Or, is there?
After hooking up with Seth last week, Margot wakes up to find that things are still basically the same in this strange world. The group leaves on a mission to find the House, which takes them on a surreal trip through the neighborhood while the House’s residents gave chase in a slow pursuit to the edge. Once Margot’s group goes across the threshold, the residents remain behind with the notable exception being the Father, who goes inside after them.
“The Exit” provides more evidence that the House devours memories in order to survive. But the creatures are the least of the group’s worries as questions arise that some of them may not be who they claim to be. JD is outed as being a copy of the original, while Seth is revealed as someone who lives in the House World. This leads Margot and Jules to flee inside the House once again, together. The only person who comes after them is the Father.

Channel Zero: No-End House is like watching a nightmare play out in real time. It’s creepy and chilling and now it’s impossible to tell what’s real and what is being broadcast from the House. And this is what makes the show so much fun.
Channel Zero: No-End House airs Wednesdays at 10pm on SyFy.
