Barry Allen is finally back from his summer vacation in the Speed Force and thinks that everything can go back to normal as the Flash. Little does he know that some things changed while he was away. Iris has been leading Team Flash these days and it looks like the two might clash over who gets to be in charge. This week they are trying some couples therapy to work out the kinks in this new phase of their relationship.
At the same time, there is of course a brand new meta out there causing some trouble. The good news is that Team Flash is back at full power with Caitlin and Barry’s even got a new suit to test out though that doesn’t quite go perfectly. Gypsy is also back in town for this episode and things look to be heating up for her and Cisco. Though we know a visit from her father, played by Danny Trejo, is one the way this season.
