Arrow returned for season 6 on Thursday, which followed up on the explosive season 5 finale. Five months passed by, with the fallout taking over the premiere. Some characters were shaken up, while others didn’t look impacted. However, there was one death and another near casualty.

Samantha, William’s mother, died on Lian Yu. That left William to Oliver, his biological father. Their relationship was a focal point of “Fallout,” with Ollie making progress on being a parent, something he never had to do in the first five seasons.

It looked like Thea perished at Lian Yu, until a scene showed Oliver visiting her at the hospital. She was in a coma.

Slade Wilson appeared at the hospital, too, and told Oliver he was headed toward Calgary, Alberta, CA to see his son, Joseph. Ollie told Slade in the season 5 finale that he would help find Joseph after dealing with Adrian Chase.

At the end of “Tribute,” Oliver’s identity as the Green Arrow was revealed on the news. It showed an image of his in his attire, which means questions will undoubtedly be asked by the public in “Tribute,” the title of the upcoming episode. Its synopsis teased Oliver’s balancing act between being a father, mayor and the Green Arrow, along with the return of Anatoly.
