When watching Riverdale, one can expect drama, twists and turns surrounding Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Jughead Jones and the rest of the town. This happens in almost every episode and has been the case through season 2.

To start the second season, we saw Fred Andrews survive being shot in the season 1 finale. However, this hooded assailant wasn’t finished. He returned at the end of “Chapter Fourteen” and killed Miss Grundy. This shook up Archie who had a personal relationship with her in season 1.

Afterward, the hooded man made Archie paranoid. He stayed up all night, waiting for him to show up. That never happened, as he shot and killed two kids in Riverdale. These weren’t personal connections to Archie, unlike Fred and Miss Grundy, so what’s the end game for this man? Why did he choose these people as his targets?

Aside from this, Hiram Lodge reentered Veronica’s life. He tried to make amends with her by making a donation to Pop’s Diner, but suspicion remains around his motives and what he’s actually up to in Riverdale. How will this unfold in “Chapter Sixteen: The Watcher in the Woods?”
