Archie and the gang have gone full on True Detective at this point. This whole high school is basically hunting a serial killer and all of the adults don’t know what to do. The fallout from Archie’s Red Circle intimidation video hit everyone pretty hard and Archie is on the verge of getting suspended. Luckily, Veronica has his back and pretty much gets the whole student body behind him.
Everyone else seemed very separated this week. I don’t think that Jughead and Archie had a scene together and neither did Betty and Veronica. They were all too caught up in trying to solve this latest crime. Does anyone think the kids in this series are the only ones who understand what is going on? Most of the parents seem nuts.
Betty was busy dealing with the fact that the Black Hood killer has revealed the fact that he is obsessed with her and credits her for inspiring his violent spree. She keeps this fact from Jughead, while he is still distancing himself from her with his new friendships. Toni Topaz and Jughead’s new school have started to drive a wedge between the fan favorite couple. Let’s take a look at how those fans are reacting to this week’s Riverdale.
