9. X-Force

X-Force is another squad that has gone through several iterations. The one most prime for a television adaptation to me would be the one helmed by Rick Remender. It was a deadly team of mutants put together to stop Apocalypse from re-surfacing and taking over the world. It was really an off-shoot of another team that was implented to be pro-active and stop threats to mutant kind before they happened. All of this could work together to create a compelling live-action drama.

The team consisted of Wolverine, Psylocke, Deadpool, Fantomex, and Archangel. Now I know most of those characters have already been claimed by the X-Men films, but some other characters could easily be substituted for some others. You just need the name and the core concept really. If they decided not to make an X-23 movie then this could easily become her mission. Take her, Fantomex, Archangel, and characters like Warpath or Elixir. The point is that they would a special strike team assembled to hunt down threats to all mutants. Instead of running and hiding all the time, these X-Men would take the fight to their enemies.
