7. Magik

Magik will be making her live-action debut in the New Mutants movie, but there is so much possibility within her backstory to delve into. Her original powers were basically just an odd form of teleportation, but it turns out that teleportation was actually entering into the demonic world of Limbo. Within this Limbo she became a very powerful sorceress, think Doctor Strange but with occasional devil horns. Digging into what was basically another version of hell gave her some interesting enemies and allies. She spends her childhood within this Limbo being trained by alternate versions of other X-Men like Storm and Shadowcat.

She has fought with devils and demons for control over Limbo and even became trapped within it for a long time. While there she learned to fashion her own armor and sword from the very magic of her own soul. I would imagine a series about her being like a combination of Legion and Penny Dreadful. That sounds pretty intriguing right? You could spend the whole first season seeing this young girl get dragged into her own version of hell before she emerges as a sword-wielding badass with horns and magical armor.
