The light-hearted season of The Flash continues on with new guest stars and some old friends returning. This week brings in the newest star villain to the series as Katee Sackhoff debuts her new character as Amunet Black. We also get to see the return of Felicity Smoak to the Central City and Team Flash.
There really isn’t enough intermingling between all of the superhero teams in this Arrowverse and it is a nice mixup to see Felicity actually being friends with the stars of another series. It is also a nice twist to see the team divided into two separate groups this week. Barry Allen is finally not the center of an episode and basically pushed back to comedic relief status, which actually works really well.
His sadness over chicken wings and Titanic were a favorite of many fans this week. Iris West continues to assert her presence in the series as team leader and supportive figure to the whole squad. We also got to see a little bit more of Ralph Dibny and how he will fit into the team moving forward. Let’s take a look at how the internet responded to this week’s episode of the Flash.
