This is a man that can do no wrong with a resume loaded with excellent movies from The Prestige to Prisoners, here’s a man whose talent knows no limits. X-men may have given him his big break way back in 2000, but now that he’s done with Wolverine, maybe he’d venture into playing another hero. Why not jump ship to DC and portray the iconic Dark Knight? Dare I say in some ways, this version of Bruce is like Logan in that he’s been physically and emotionally exhausted from the countless battles with bad guys and losses he’s suffered. Also like Logan, Bruce has a child he knows nothing about, something that the DCEU can explore as well, but that’s where the comparisons stop.

Bruce is a multi-billionaire genius playboy who has an entire world of his own and to see Jackman take on the role would be fantastic.  Despite Jackman nearing 50, he’s in extraordinary shape and could pull off the same type of role that Ben Affleck was going to do. Given his award-winning resume and box office appeal, he’d be great in a Matt Reeves Albert Hitchcock inspired film that promises to give fans a deeper look at the detective skills Bruce Wayne posses. An added bonus is that the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman won’t require some 15-year commitment like Wolverine.

With the DCEU planning to move on from Batman in the future especially with movies like Nightwing coming out — I’d imagine he’d be playing Batman for only 3-4 compared the 7 he did with Fox. With his resume, look, and age there’s no better actor to play the DCEU’s version of Bruce Wayne.
