Is Justice League in IMAX?

Justice League hits theaters on Friday, Nov. 17. Will it be available in IMAX?

Justice League will be the latest superhero movie of 2017. This will see Aquaman, Batman, Cyborg, The Flash and Wonder Woman team in a live-action flick of DC Comics characters. It follows Logan, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Wonder Woman, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok, the most recent of these films and a Marvel Studios property.

A luxury of going to the movie theater, albeit at a higher price, is seeing a picture in IMAX. Images are larger and clearer than the standard viewing experience.

To no surprise, Justice League will be available to view in IMAX at select movie theaters. That means all the hard-hitting, superhero action can be seen in one of the best theater settings. The potential fight between the Justice League and Steppenwolf should be a visual pleasure, along with getting crisp images of everything from a building to a crease on someone’s shirt.

For a movie like this, IMAX might be the desired viewing experience. The effects should be stunning, much like they were in other 2017 superhero films in IMAX. It’s more expensive to see, maybe $5-10 more at some locations, but what other time will you get this opportunity, other than while it’s available in theaters? Unless you own a world-class movie set-up at your home, your next-best option will be waiting for Justice League to be released on DVD or Blu-Ray.

However, some venues don’t have IMAX viewing, so visit IMAX.com to see if yours has it. If it doesn’t, then you’ll have the option to travel elsewhere.
