Riverdale aired its sixth episode of the second season on Wednesday, Nov. 15. Will it be followed up on Wednesday, Nov. 22, the day before Thanksgiving?

Riverdale remains one of the hottest shows on the CW. In its second season, it follows the town of Riverdale, with characters based on the famous Archie Comics. That means Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge and Jughead Jones are all involved, along with other significant characters that contribute to the show’s arc.

The story of season 2 surrounded the Black Hood. This man first appeared in the season 1 finale, entering Pop’s Diner and shooting Archie’s father, Fred, who ended up surviving in the season 2 premiere.

However, the Black Hood remained on the loose and has not ceased his violence throughout the second season. That included killing Miss Grundy, attempting to murder two kids from Riverdale High School and killing Mr. Phillips, who turned out to be the infamous Sugar Man that sold Jingle Jangle to students. The Hood was seen ready to shoot Phillips as episode 6 of season 2 closed.

As of this writing, the Black Hood’s identity is unknown. He teased a reveal to Betty, on multiple occasions, but preceded to fool her with his mind games. Although, it wouldn’t be a surprise if this man was closely linked to her.

More is still to come in the next Riverdale episode, as the show nears its midseason finale. That won’t happen for a few weeks, as there’s still a handful of episodes left. But, there won’t be anything to see on Wednesday, Nov. 22, as Riverdale will not be new. That’s as Thanksgiving approaches.
