Gal Gadot celebrated her first Thanksgiving and shared a picture of her holiday table. From the look of it, it was a great time.

Thanksgiving is a wholly American holiday that has been embraced by people all over the world. More than a commemoration of a meeting of two peoples, though, now it has become a celebration of family and friends and getting together.

Gal Gadot, a native of Israel, has been spending a lot of time in the United States and in 2017 she celebrated her first Thanksgiving with family and friends.

Here’s what Gadot had to say about her first Thanksgiving celebration:

"“The camera couldn’t capture all the goodies that were on the table.. thanks SO much to miss@osishoham the one and only that can pull off huge dinners and always look fresh , sharp and calm as if it was nothing.. make everyone feels at home and welcome. It was my first Thanksgiving and I must say that I think this holiday is beautiful. All about gratefulness and togetherness. We should make it an international holiday. Happy turkey day you guys. May we always count our blessings and remember to be humble.”"

Gadot has a lot to be thankful for this year. In 2016 she skyrocketed to fame in her role as Diana Prince in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but it was 2017’s Wonder Woman that really sent things to a whole new level. She’s coming off the premiere of Justice League that, despite mixed reviews, offered another glowing performance from Gadot as Wonder Woman. Gadot also welcomed a new baby in 2017.

2017 has clearly been a great year for her!

Gadot will return to her role as Wonder Woman in 2019 in the highly anticipated sequel with Patty Jenkins returning as director. The sequel’s release date has been moved up to November to ensure that it doesn’t conflict with the premiere of Star Wars: Episode IX.
