In the finale of the “Vote Harley” story arc, Harley Quinn #32 delivers a revenge story for the ages that reminds everyone why you never, ever cross Harley Quinn.

There’s no doubt that Harley is driven by her emotions. She comes from good intentions and wants to help people, but she also wants to punish people who hurt people close to her. Harley Quinn #32 does an amazing job of showing Harley at one of her lowest points after the death of one of her friends. You can feel the emotion coming off the pages as she focuses on getting her revenge against the Mayor.

After getting out of a predicament with Harley Sinn, Harley’s mind shifts to revenge against the Mayor and Madison, and revenge is a dish best served cold. The Mayor has no idea what’s coming for him and when Harley arrives, she decides that that order of revenge isn’t her dish, after all. She gives that to the one person who has been wronged the most, leaving the Mayor in the very capable hands of someone who knows how dish out torture.

Harley gets an assist from Poison Ivy and Red Tool, and it will be her friends who support her after her devastating loss.

Harley Quinn has always been a fascinating character because she toes the line between good and bad, and in her mind the ends almost always justify the means. With the Mayor and his acolyte Madison in her sights, nothing matters until she has taken them down once and for all and it feels so good to see her destroy them.
