The “Crisis on Earth-X” crossover ended on Tuesday night. Which moments stood out?

On Tuesday night, Part 3 and 4 of “Crisis on Earth-X” concluded. This saw the Arrowverse heroes fight the invading Nazis of Earth-X, playing back to the comic books and creating the biggest crossover in DCTV history. It was a far cry from the old Barry Allen-Oliver Queen two-parters, with everyone from all four Arrowverse shows and debuting heroes appearing.

This four-part event created fantastic moments, highlighting a game-changing two nights for Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl. What stood out the most? Did anything set up future events?

Let’s take a look at the eight-best moments from “Crisis on Earth-X.”

8. Standoff between heroes and doppelganger counterparts

During the crossover’s first night, we learned that Oliver Queen and Kara’s doppelgangers were part of the Earth-X Nazis, who wanted to capture Supergirl and attack the Earth-1 heroes. The viewers knew this long before our titular heroes, however, as this came with much surprise.

Along with this, Barry technically met his polar opposite, except someone who he already knew. It was Eobard Thawne under the Harrison Wells skin.

When everyone faced off, it brought back some wacky memories of season 1 and created an unseen dynamic for this crossover event. It built up the storyline and led to what we saw through the four episodes.

7. Citizen Cold arrives

Wentworth Miller’s Leonard Snart played a significant role in the first season of The Flash, and was even an Original Legend. However, his role decreased after season 1 of Legends of Tomorrow, resulting in sporadic appearances for the 2016-17 season of shows and being absent through the first seven weeks of 2017-18.

During “Crisis on Earth-X,” Snart made his triumphant return, except not as the villainous Captain Cold. It was his Earth-X version, Citizen Cold. On top of that, he was in a relationship with The Ray, a debuting hero that will star in Freedom Fighters: The Ray.

Snart assisted the Earth-1 heroes in their escape from the Nazis, using his gun to fend them off. He even helped in the rest of Part 3 and into 4.

It was a likely one-off for Miller’s character, who recently said he filmed his final scenes in the Arrowverse. If so, he went out as a hero and beloved character, who impacted the early stages of this DCTV Universe. Note that he chose to stay on Earth-1 and wasn’t killed off.
