Supergirl season 3, episode 9 live stream: Watch online

After last week’s “Crisis on Earth-X” crossover, Supergirl returns to its storylines for Monday, Dec. 4. It will be season 3, episode 9. A look at how to watch it online.

On Monday, Nov. 27, a typical episode of Supergirl wasn’t seen. Instead, it became part of the CW’s four-part crossover event, “Crisis on Earth-X.” This brought the previously-noted show, The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Arrow together for four episodes over two nights. All the heroes battled the Earth-X Nazis, including Overgirl — one of Kara’s many alter-egos.

Kara and the others defeated Overgirl, who needed a heart transplant and wanted the titular hero’s to keep her alive. That didn’t happen, as Overgirl died before the episode ended (and an attempted surgery was thwarted by the heroes). It provided Kara with one of her toughest foes, along with a fun performance from Melissa Benoist, who pulled double-duty for this crossover.

As for Alex, she attempted to move on from her now-over relationship with Maggie. So, she hooked up with Sara Lance, making for an interesting couple and mini storyline. This began at Barry Allen and Iris West’s wedding rehearsal, and followed with awkward run-ins, until they worked together to fight the Nazis from Earth-X.
