5. Mistress Death

Which brings me to one of the four cosmic entities – Death – that had her hand in the creation of the Infinity Stones themselves, mentioned in Guardians of the Galaxy; she is the literal personification of death itself.

Rumoured to appear in Thor: Ragnarok and Cate Blanchett’s portrayal of Hela to be in actual fact the MCUs amalgamation of Death in this shared continuity, Hela may in fact return, but Feige neither confirmed nor denied that Hela was in fact a replacement for Mistress Death in the comics.

I believe this to be unlikely, for in fact the actual on-screen appearance of Death to be on the horizon. Josh Brolin, the actor playing Thanos confirmed the mad titan’s relationship with Death on Screen Rant.

 Death is the source of Thanos’ infatuation and has already killed all life in half of the universe with the snap of his fingers, using the Infinity Gauntlet once before. He yearned for her affection, but often did not give it.

Her full-screen appearance is expected at some point in the future in one form or another.
