This week on Riverdale everything fell apart and everyone made some crazy decisions. Basically a common week in this little town.

It wasn’t even the mid-season finale and a lot of big things happened in this week’s episode. Riverdale is always over-the-top but this time there was an underage strip-tease, multiple break-ups, and a pretty tame party at the town’s notorious biker bar.
The most talked about scene of this episode is probably the pole dancing scene by Betty Cooper. I understand the value of something sexy happening on a television show, but these characters are supposed to be about 16 or 17. Her mother and the father of her boyfriend were both there.
It was slightly disturbing and certainly a somewhat controversial choice, but I mean a ton of shows feature scenes that sexualize most characters so I’m not making an indictment of Riverdale by itself. The other big moments in the episode were revealing in another way. The janitor that has seemed very suspicious lately has been exonerated, but pushed the investigation into the Black Hood in an all new direction. The break-ups this week honestly seemed a bit forced for the sake of drama and the multiple possible love triangles always drifting around. Let’s take a look at how the fans are reacting to this week’s Riverdale. .

Jughead: We have to tell the police. This us extremely vital info.
Betty: Nope, I accused him of being the Black Hood.
Jughead: Right, awkward.
