4. Darth Vader’s Force ghost

We’ve all been dying to see the return of Anakin Skywalker to the Star Wars universe and now there’s perhaps a chance he might make such an appearance in The Last Jedi. According to Comicbook.com, early concept art of The Force Awakens suggested that Anakin was supposed to appear in said film, as a Force ghost. Even more, there have been several convincing theories pointing to Anakin’s spirit communicating with Luke, and even Kylo Ren. So, if J.J. Abrams had thoughts of including the once-powerful Sith lord in The Force Awakens, then there’s mild chances that Anakin might actually make an appearance in The Last Jedi

There is a recurring theme lingering in The Last Jedi trailers, about bringing balance to the Force. If there’s one Force ghost that can do that, or help in doing so, it’s definitely Anakin Skywalker.

As mentioned by Inverse.com, Anakin’s light side could’ve split from his dark side as Darth Vader, essentially creating two Force ghosts. The ensuing result from such a divergence would allow one Force ghost to communicate with Kylo and the other with Luke. This is just a fan theory, but one that nicely places Anakin’s Force ghost in The Last Jedi.
