4. Thor Jane Foster
The Odinson may not be worthy of Mjolnir, but Jane Foster absolutely is. Jane Foster may not have been everyone’s first choice, but she has more than held her own. Not only that, she became an Avenger and continuously helped lead them to victory. Unfortunately, Jane Foster in her mortal form is dying of cancer. Jane Foster’s fate is going to remain a mystery until it happens. Her having cancer doesn’t mean she will die. We’ve seen heroes overcome great obstacles time and time again. This might not be any different. If Jane Foster wasn’t a popular Thor, she wouldn’t have lasted as long as she did. If she survives and remains a prominent character, that would be great. But if she does die, look for her to have one heck of a final battle in 2018.
3. Loki
Of all the people in the multi-verse to gain the title of Sorcerer Supreme, Loki is the last person I would ever expect to be protector of the realm. At least Doom seemed to care about more than himself. Loki doesn’t care about anything except what makes Loki happy. But since Loki’s death and resurrection in 2010, Loki hasn’t been completely evil. Selfish, yes, but not evil. What’s next for Loki and what kind of battles will he face? There is no way that Loki can keep the prestigious title of Sorcerer Supreme too long. But if the series is good, Loki might remain the protector of the realm for a long time.
