The Flash: Best and worst moments of season 4 so far

1. BEST: The Flash vs. The Thinker
After three seasons of speedster villains, it was now time to switch it up a bit and introduce a villain, unlike anything we have seen before on the show. Truthfully, I wasn’t entirely sure how the show was going to pull it off, but Clifford DeVoe is easily the best part of Season 4. Not only does he have a unique set of abilities vastly different from Reverse Flash, Zoom and Savitar, but The Thinker pushes Barry Allen to his limit and the audience is able to feel the high stakes.
In Episode 7 (“Therefore I Am”), Barry and Joe are investigating DeVoe and they are some of the most riveting scenes of the entire season. At the end of the episode, Barry confronts DeVoe and he reveals his true identity as The Thinker. Every time Barry seems like he has the upper hand, DeVoe shuts him down as he is always one step ahead. The Flash may be the fastest man alive, but is he a match for the smartest man alive? After the huge twist in the midseason finale where DeVoe frames Barry for his murder, fans are questioning how Team Flash will save the day this time around.
