Legends of Tomorrow

1. Sara changes reality … slightly

Legends of Tomorrow remains the most consistent show in the Arrowverse and season 2 allowed the show to blossom. While season 1 was a mixed bag that seemed too bogged down in the Hawks and Vandal Savage, season 2 breathed new life into the show, particularly with the addition of the Legion of Doom.

The Legion was actually successful in their plans to use the Spear of Destiny to alter reality and bring about “Doomworld”, but as Sara Lance often says, “Legends never die”. The Legends fought back and eventually gained control of the Spear which led to Sara having a choice to make. The Spear tried to tempt her with a vision of Laurel, but like a true hero, Sara chose to save reality itself… with one minor change.

2. Damien Darhk returns

Damien Darhk was a highlight of Arrow season 4, so it was wonderful news when he was included in the Legion of Doom. At the end of season 2, it seemed that it would be the end of Darhk for the Arrowverse, but he’s back.

Thanks to some magic (what else?), Darhk was resurrected in Victorian London before the Legends’ eyes. His return demonstrated exactly what we’d been missing as he single-handedly defeated a number of Rip Hunter’s Time Agents and the moment was made even better by the inclusion of Mark Morrison’s “Return of the Mack” in the Victorian setting.
