With Marvel set to release Black Panther, let’s look at the titular character’s greatest villains.
The Black Panther movie is one of, if not THE most anticipated movie of 2018. Everything from the previews to the cast has people excited. Ever since Captain America: Civil War, T’Challa has gone from a random Marvel character to a household name. Despite his newfound fame, T’Challa has been around since 1966 in a Fantastic Four comic. Since then, T’Challa has fought some very random characters.
All of Black Panther’s villains aren’t well known. Even though he’s fought almost every villain as a member of the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and a solo villain. They may not be as well known as Joker, Magneto, or Sabretooth, but they are some of the most ruthless and cunning villains around. Here are Black Panther’s ten best villains.
10. Man-Ape
Once upon a time, M’Baku (Man-Ape) was once one of the fiercest fighters in Wakanda. The only person better than him was T’Challa. M’Baku didn’t like the direction Wakanda was going with their technological advances and made constant attempts to overthrow the throne. But, unfortunately for M’Baku, his attempts are always thwarted by T’Challa and sometimes the Avengers, Captain America, and once by Spider-Man during the marriage of T’Challa and Storm.
Man-Ape isn’t one of T’Challa’s greatest villains. Man-Ape is just the most persistent. Sadly, despite having killed a giant white ape and gaining superhuman strength, reflexes, and durability Man-Ape is a joke. It doesn’t help that he wears a giant ape pelt. Granted, he did kill the ape himself, it still looks ridiculous. Man-Ape may not have the fighting prowess of the other people on this list, but he was one of T’Challa’s oldest and most determined villains. One thing that makes me happy is he isn’t running around in a giant ape suit in the Black Panther movie.
