3. Captain America
One is the leader of the Avengers. One is the leader of the Defenders. Together, they become something more.
For a long time, Captain America and Daredevil have been close allies in the comics, especially in the first Civil War storyline. And yet, we have still not seen the two together on the big screen.
The two heroes have a lot more in common than some would give them credit as well. They both come from absolutely nothing, losing their parents at a young age. Both are firm leaders, and will do whatever it takes to do what is right. Sometimes that even leads to the challenge of morality. While we have only come to see this through Captain America’s perspective through Captain America: Civil War, for Daredevil, it is one of the key conflicts to his character in his show. If they were to make this an issue that both are dealing with together, it would make for a well-told story.
The only question is how could this be done. As more time goes on, the less and less this seems likely to happen, as Chris Evans’ contract is set to eventually expire. Not only that, but the environment in which we have seen the two is completely different, leaving some to wonder how they could make this work. One thing is for sure though: whenever these two do meet, it will be a match made in heaven.
