Daredevil: 5 MCU characters we’d love to see in a crossover

2. Black Widow

For those who don’t know, Black Widow and Daredevil have had a long-running history together in the comics as well. At one point, they were even lovers.

So much like Captain America, it is a wonder how the two have not shared the screen yet. The two are in many ways very similar. Both come from tragic pasts, including mistakes made along the way they want to forget. But probably most importantly, the two are expert fighters when it comes to hand-to-hand combat. Much like for Black Panther, if the two were to go at it against each other, it would make for an excellent fight scene.

But it wouldn’t be just the fight scene that would make this a dream match. Both deal with extreme internal conflict. Black Widow is dealing with red in her ledger, while Daredevil is dealing with whether or not his actions are the right thing to do. While their relationship wouldn’t necessarily be like Daredevil and Elektra’s, in the end the relationship just wouldn’t work out between the two, as they are both dealing with their own demons.

With the recent news that a Black Widow solo film is in the works, now is the right time for him to make his movie debut. He doesn’t have to have a massive role in the movie, but it would work for both of their characters.
