6. X-Men: First Class

Before X-Men: First Class was released, the X-Men franchise was at its lowest point with stinkers such as X-Men: The Last Stand and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Then came along X-Men: First Class, which was the final attempt to revitalize the franchise with a film set in the past with a brand new cast. While some people were a bit worried at first, the movie turned out to be pretty great.

This new cast was absolutely stunning with excellent choices such as James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Michael Fassbender playing the titular roles of Professor X, Mystique, and Magneto. One of the best parts of the film were the interactions between the different characters and how they developed into the modern versions we cared for in the previous films. The script was very well-written and included some strong plot points along with an overall great story.
