Who are the six best villains from Marvel’s Ultimate Universe?

Marvel’s Ultimate Universe was a re-imagined version of the Marvel Universe. If Marvel started in 1999  instead of the 1960s, this is what the universe would look like. It was amazing seeing the differences between the two universes. One that comes to mind is how mutants in the Ultimate Universe were created in a lab instead of via evolution. Another is the differences between the villains.

The villains in the Ultimate Universe were usually nothing like their counterpart in the 616 Universe that we know and love. Sometimes, it was something as simple as a costume change. But it was usually something a more extreme personality change. They were more aggressive and ruthless versions of these characters. These six are the best villains that were produced in the Ultimate Universe.

6. Doctor Otto Octavius

When it comes to villains, Doctor Octopus is looked at as B-List. He’s not physically intimidating, he’s not that skilled, and until he switched bodies with Peter Parker, he’s had no memorable wins. Now, Otto Octavius in the Ultimate Universe is everything that his counterpart is not. He’s smart, skilled, ruthless, and cunning. If not for his own hubris, Doc Ock would be the best villain Ultimate Spider-Man has faced. I’m still not sure he isn’t. He’s been a thorn in Spider-Man’s side from day one.

Otto Octavius has been great from the minute he was made a legit supervillain. He immediately started killing people and set out to destroy everyone who wronged him. The first time he fought Spider-Man, he lost, but this was because he hadn’t adjusted to his powers yet. Every time they have fought since, it hasn’t been easy. He even had a chance to kill Peter Parker. But his arrogance and need to make Spider-Man suffer did him in. Otto’s best moment was when he cloned Peter Parker and then waved it around in Peter’s face like an arrogant jerk. Despite losing over and over, Ultimate Doc Ock was never a pushover. He even gave the Ultimates a run for their money once.
