2. Reed Richards “The Maker”

It seems like Reed Richards is the smartest person on the planet regardless of the universe he’s in. Just like in universe 616, Reed Richards is the leader of the Fantastic Four. For years, Reed Richards was always the hero we knew him to be. He saved the world more than a few times even though he was significantly younger than his Universe 616 counterpart. But Reed Richards went from hero to villain and no one saw it coming.

If I had to give a reason for why Reed switched sides, I’d attribute it to his experiences. Reed was bullied as a kid and it didn’t get better as he got older. He was manipulated by everyone from Victor von Damme (Dr. Doom), Nick Fury, and his counterpart from a universe where everyone is a zombie. When he proposed to Sue Storm and she declined, it was probably the straw that broke the camel’s back.
Reed Richards attempted to fix the world, but before he did that, he flat out killed his mother, father, and sisters. Then he went after any and everyone smart enough to stop him. He wanted to “fix” the world. But first, he had to systematically destroy everyone who was a threat.

There was one thing Reed Richards had over the villains that came before him. He didn’t have the hang-up of needing credit for things. He preferred to remain in the shadows and let others do his work. This made it difficult for him to be beaten. After fighting Dr. Doom, he became Dr. Doom himself. Maybe his greatest victory was when his more evolved world of superhumans called The Children of Tomorrow (http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Children_Of_Tomorrow_(Earth-1610)). They, with the direction of Ree Richards, destroyed Asgard and killed all the Asgardian Gods.
