3. Luke Pasqualino — Skins

Luke Pasqualino is another unknown on the list though if you’ve watched Skins where he played the troubled Freddy. His ability to act vulnerably and emotionally is what makes him ideal for the role of Nightwing who will undoubtedly struggle with his own demons. At 27, Pasqualino is the ideal age for an older version of Dick Grayson, but it fits in the overall picture of a Batman who is a seasoned superhero vet.

If you want to see more of his action side as a testament to why he is the sum of most parts watch BBC’s The Musketeers. Pasqualino played the new guy, D’Artagnan who was as gifted with a sword as he was with the ladies. His character was a smooth playboy who had a way with women, much like Dick Grayson.

There’s a childish nature that exists in a character whose motivation comes after the death of his father. He’s a risk taker who at times can get him into trouble, those are the depths of character that he played well and could take with him as Nightwing. However, Pasqualino at his most badassness comes from the critically acclaimed post-apocalyptic movie, Snowpiercer starring where he plays a bodyguard, a knife-wielding assassin named Gray.  This guy really fits the bill when it comes to Nightwing so let’s get it done.
