The numbers officially came in for the top DVD and Blu-ray sales of comic book movies.

The numbers are finally in for the best selling movies in the United States for 2017. Numerous comic book movies made the list like Guardians of the Galaxy and Deadpool. However, we will only focus on 2017 releases. Let us look at their DVD sales, Blu-ray sales and combined sales.

6. Kingsman: The Golden Circle

The Kingsman sequel holds the last spot on the list of comic book movies, coming in at number fifty on the total list. At least as far as comic book movies go. Its DVD and Blu-ray yield is rather low. It fails to even chart in the top DVD sellers. This is a bit unfair, given the movie only saw three weeks of release in 2017. In that three week time, it has sold roughly the same amount if not less, than its predecessor sold in its first three weeks.

At the same time, these numbers are pretty low for a holiday release. One would assume some holiday shopping would give it a pretty decent boost. Instead, it saw the number one spot for its debut week and that was it. Kingsman is not much of a stand-out film for 2017. The film is hardly bad, but nothing new given it’s a sequel and followed more by a tight-knit crowd and fandom.
