1. Batwing (Lucas Fox)

Finally on our list of black superheroes is Lucas Fox, the son of Lucius Fox. This young man is the current Batwing. Lucas dons a mech suit of armor to fight crime in Gotham. He is quite the tech expert with an up and running tech company as well. On top of that, he is the current tech guy for Batman and the team in the current Detective Comics run. Lucas Fox can be a nice addition since he plays against type. His father is wealthy and highly intelligent and yet so is Lucas.

There is no gang banging, inner-city poverty or any of that. No, Lucas Fox is a tech-savvy businessman, superhero and has a relationship with Batgirl. GASP! This is something else we have to see on screen. An interracial relationship for a comic book movie may be the first, unless you want to count green people like Hulk and Gamora. Plus, he is part of the Bat family. Some time ago Geoff Johns spoke about bring the Bat-Family to the silver screen. I have no doubt many African-Americans want a spot in the Bat-Family. I mean… it’s the Bat-Family!
