5. Drax the Destroyer

Thanos was indirectly responsible for the birth of Drax the Destroyer. When the Mad Titans journeyed to Earth he was the cause of a catastrophic accident that injured the daughter and killed the wife of a man named Arthur Douglas. Thanos’ enemy Kronos saw what the damage the former caused and created an avatar with superhuman abilities that included shooting energy blasts, super strength, speed, stamina, durability, and flight. He then placed the spirit of Arthur Douglas inside the body of the being that would soon be dubbed Drax the Destroyer.

Without any memory of history erased Drax had no recollection of the accident. Instead, Kronos had his memories replaced with rage and programmed him with the task of killing Thanos. This is why Drax makes the list. Any being who was created to stop one of the most powerful foes in Marvel has to be extremely powerful. Drax never really beat Thanos, though at one point it looked like he would succeed. Unfortunately, Thanos regenerated and murdered Drax.
