12. Chris Hemsworth as Thor

The Thor movies have always made bank, but they’ve also been met with criticism. The first movie was too dark and didn’t have enough Thor being a god. Thor: Dark World had a terrible villain and too much Natalie Portman. Despite all the criticism, Thor remained an amazing character. Not just in his own movies, but in Marvel’s The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor was great.

He played Thor exactly like he was in the comics. When he was young, he was the brash and arrogant Thor. After he joined the Avengers, he was still looking at them like lesser beings. Then, Thor Ragnarok hit theaters, we saw a side of Thor we don’t see in comics. A comical side. This may not be a portrayal from the comics, but it was still a grade A performance by Chris Hemsworth.

Thor can be just brutish at times, so showing more to him than that isn’t an easy task. Chris Hemsworth has improved his performance in each movie he’s been in with no sign of slowing down. It’ll be amazing to see what he does in Avengers: Infinity War. Especially with him meeting new characters like Rocket and Drax. We’ve already seen how great Hemsworth was when he met Dr. Strange.
