7. Chris Pratt as Star-Lord

Remember the first time Chris Pratt said his name was Star-Lord and Djimon Hounsou asked, “Who?” Well, now, we all know who Star-Lord is. Pratt took a character that no one cared about and turned him into a comedic, star character and sex symbol. It was obvious right from the beginning that Star-Lord had a little bit of Tony Stark in him. The sleeping around and all of the daddy issues were in our faces. Unlike tark, Star-Lord doesn’t need a suit of armor to fight.

Pratt seemed like he was going to playing random roles of the funny guy friend and never a star. His role as Star-Lord has gotten him the lead in major movies like the Jurassic World Franchise, The Magnificent Seven, and Passengers. Pratt was also so good it changed the character in the comic book as well.

Before Pratt played Star-Lord, he wasn’t a character that comic book fans were looking for. However, he became someone that has actually made a difference in Marvel Comics in the Guardians of the Galaxy series and Civil War 2. This would not have been possible without Pratt’s performance in the movies didn’t force Marvel to change who he was in the comics. More importantly, Guardians of the Galaxy franchise doesn’t make the vast amount of money without him.
