20. Dave Bautista as Drax

This was Dave Bautista’s first major role, but he took this opportunity and ran with it. Not only that, he was one of the best parts of Guardians of the Galaxy. In the first Guardians movie, Drax was just an angry brute with a lack of understanding for sarcasm. As the movie went on, Drax developed a good amount of genuine emotions.

Here’s the best part: Bautista did a great job. He transitioned from goof-ball to serious with little time in the movie and did it good job doing it. People didn’t enjoy the second Guardians of the Galaxy as much as they did the first one. Despite that, Drax shined bright.

Drax didn’t have an abundance of profound moments in the second movie, but he did have one that sticks out; his talk with Mantis. While the scene may have been comical, Bautista did a great job keeping the personality of Drax intact while having a deep conversation with Mantis. The character Drax is a side character, but he still managed to have scene-stealing moments in each movie.
