2. Wonder Woman

Born on the hidden island of Themyscira, Diana (Gal Gadot) was the daughter of Queen Hippolyta, who wanted her child to be raised as such. Diana, on the other hand wanted to be trained like a warrior and she was, by her aunt Antipope. When Diana became of age she proved to be one of the greatest fighters in the island. When a man named, Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) washed ashore, their island was exposed to mankind as invaders soon followed. In battle, after her aunt sacrificed her life in order to save Diana she burdened herself with guilt. From the guilt a hero would be born as she volunteered to escort Steve back to the world of man in an effort to defeat the God of WR Ares.

When she arrived in the war-torn world she stepped up and fought to end World War I. Wonder Woman would go on to successfully defeat Ares showing just how powerful she was. When a hero can bring together a group of people and lead them to victory like Diana did on top of defeating a God, then it’s hard to imagine many people more qualified to call themselves greater than her. In fact, if not for Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman wouldn’t have had any show at defeating Doomsday in Batman v Superman. Wonder Woman proved to not only be a true warrior, but a fierce leader whose power is only matched by a god, or the No. 1 hero on our list.
