2. Finn Jones as Danny Rand (The Immortal Iron Fist)

Netflix’s Iron Fist is revered as one of the worst projects Marvel has put out in the MCU. Rotton Tomatoes gave it an 18 percent. However, the critics have been wrong before. The audience on Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 75 percent and IMDB.com rated it a 6.8. With that said, IGN.com put it best when they said, “Iron Fist is the worst part of Marvel’s Iron Fist,” and that is why Finn Jones ranks number two on this list.

It’s never a good sign when the worst part of the show is not only the star, but the title as well. Jones’ couldn’t get any momentum going. His portrayal of the naive Danny Rand wasn’t believable, he lacked any emotion regardless of the situation, and he was out-shined by everyone from Jessica Henwick (Colleen Wing) and Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple).

Heath Ledger’s Joker in Dark Knight may have been the character people remember, but Christian  Bale held his own and remained a star. At best, Jones’ performance was that of a supporting character. It’s one of the reasons why he worked so well in Defenders when he was surrounded by characters that could mask his faults. In fact, he was pretty good.

That said, Jones’ performance in Iron Fist was so bad that it will take more than a eight episodes as a supporting character in Defenders to wipe the stink away from Iron Fist. Jones has a second chance in season 2 of Iron Fist and also in his appearance in season two of Luke Cage. If he doesn’t improve, it might be time to give up on the Iron Fist experiment.
