The Flash: How can the team defeat Clifford DeVoe?

1. Mystery Girl and Speed Force symbols

All things are led to this. I am not going to put all fan theories to the side about the Mystery Girl (Jessica Parker Kennedy), this person has not been addressed in depth. Since episode one of this current season, the symbols that Barry wrote that relate to the Speed Force in some way, maybe the key to overpowering DeVoe and crushing his plans to a cinder.

A recent fan theory exists that this girl who is a caterer, rather than having a connection to the Wests’ and the Allen’s may in actual fact be the child of the DeVoe’s in the future. I know, mind-boggling right? Whoever this person is, she has a dear understanding of the Speed Force. The most prominent theory, however, is the Tornado Twins of course.

The Flash does have a way of throwing people off base, though, especially the season three reveal. There is a theory about the symbols relating to the Speed Force and the DeVoe’s that may have something to do with dark matter energy. Barry may have to harness that higher plane of thought while he spent more than five months in the Speed Force. Maybe Barry can access the Speed Force with his mind to process information a lot quicker to the point where he is resistant to mind-control and most psychic attacks much like the post-Flashpoint era in DC Comics.

Therefore, Flash can theoretically tap into higher brain function at will and even counter some of DeVoe’s physical attacks. This may even result in DeVoe trying to steal Flash’s newfound stage of super–speed with an enhanced form of precognition. Flash may use DeVoe’s arrogance and mental instability against him.

Now, you may be asking how does the symbols factor into this? What if the Mystery girl helps Barry make sense of them since Team Flash with a phrase and translated it for, you know what – ‘This house is b******’.
