Deadpool 2 death predictions: Which characters could perish?

Fans of the comic book know Vanessa was also a mutant named Copycat. So far, she hasn’t shown any sign of being a mutant. That’s not to say it isn’t going to happen. But, it’s not looking good. Vanessa is a main character in the Deadpool movie. With everything going on with X-Force and Cable, I wouldn’t be shocked if we saw less of her in Deadpool 2.

Odds of dying: 50 percent

First, as I stated earlier, we haven’t seen Vanessa make her transformation or use her mutant powers. If I had to guess, I’d say that her time in the tube they used to torture Deadpool activated her powers. The reason I pick her to die is that nothing in Deadpool’s life remains good. Killing the love of Deadpool’s life is something that fits his life perfect. If what Ryan Reynolds says is true about the next Deadpool project being X-Force, Wade isn’t going to have time for her. Killing her adds to Deadpool’s tragic story-line. As much as I don’t want to see her go, it wouldn’t shock me if she died.

Also, there’s no guarantee her death would be permanent. In Deadpool: Circle Chase, Vanessa was about to die and she absorbed some of Deadpool’s healing factor. With all of the … holiday activities, it wouldn’t be shocking if she absorbed some of his healing powers. Killing her in Deadpool 2 could make her a villain in a future Deadpool or X-Force project.
