16. Typhoid Mary
Typhoid Mary is one of the most dangerous women in Marvel Comics. Pyro-kinetic, telekinetic, a very proficient fighter, and she’s crazy to boot. One of Mary’s personalities hired Deadpool to kill her. Another (Typhoid) hired her to break her out of the asylum. The third hired a second party to break her out. Once Deadpool broke her out, two of her personalities faded away leaving only Typhoid. Later, Typhoid got deep into Deadpool’s head and almost caused him to relapse into being a villain again. Wade took the situation as a challenge and looked to rehabilitate her the way Siryn helped him.
Deadpool tricked Typhoid into thinking they were going on a trip to New York to kill her enemy Daredevil. On Daredevil’s first attempt at being a hero, he knocked a prostitute out of a window. He thought he killed her. Instead, it drove her crazy. That prostitute was Mary. Deadpool helped Daredevil get closure.
All this time, Daredevil believed himself a killer. Now, he knows otherwise. It looked to help Typhoid would become a better person after this experience. Typhoid didn’t want to become a better person. She wanted to kill. She went on a killing spree and said only Deadpool could stop her. Deadpool had to beat her almost to a pulp. To the crowd, he looked like an animal. This was a giant step back in his mission to become a hero. It gets worse.
Wade got drunk after being rejected by Syrin and Typhoid tricked Deadpool into having sex with her by using an image inducer to make herself look like Syrin. When Deadpool asked why she would do something like that, she licked his face and said, “Because I could.”
