8. When Shiklah met Deadpool

Allow me to share a beautiful and oddball love story. Deadpool is hired by Dracula (Yep, already starting off weird) to retrieve a sarcophagus containing his wife Shiklah. When she rose up, Shiklah thanked Deadpool with a kiss. Normally, her kiss kills. Deadpool didn’t die. Shiklah was both intrigued and impressed by this. She even found him handsome. The two would go on to make their way back to Dracula. First, they made a few stops.

Along the way, Deadpool told Shiklah about all the new world in his own unique way. Having been in a sarcophagus for centuries, there was a lot to catch up on.

Aside from this, Shiklah found out that Dracula killed her brothers and was planning on using their marriage to gain control of the monster underworld. When Shiklah found this out, she was distraught (even though she found out after she and Deadpool just finished having sex). Shiklah didn’t have a way out until Deadpool came up with a genius plan. They would get married so she couldn’t marry Dracula. After a fight between Dracula’s minions and Deadpool’s crew ( Blade, Bob Agent of Hydra, Shicklah’s family, and more), Deadpool bested Dracula and remained married to Shiklah.

The two were two peas in a crazy pod. He made her laugh and didn’t judge her or her family and she didn’t judge him. When she found out about Deadpool having a daughter (wait, what?) she accepted it and allowed him to be away for extended periods of time to make sure she was taken care. Again, this story doesn’t have a happy ending.
