Daredevil season 3 will reportedly introduce Bullseye, but who is this character?
There will be a Daredevil season 3 on Netflix. In fact, Screen Rant reported that Vincent D’Onofrio has finished up filming his parts as Wilson “Kingpin” Fisk. Maybe the biggest news to come out about season three is the reported addition of Bullseye as a villain. Wilson Bethel will be playing the assassin that never misses.
Bullseye was once played by Colin Farrell in the 2003 Daredevil that starred Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. A lot of people said that he was the one saving grace from the movie. Bullseye entering Netflix’s Daredevil will give Matt Murdock a new kind of villain to attack. Something that isn’t the big and strong Wilson Fisk or the silent but deadly Hand ninjas. Bullseye’s skill set is more athletic, long distance, and comes with a lot of trash talking. But who is this villain?
Who is Bullseye?
Bullseye is one of the most dangerous people on the planet. Despite the hand-to-hand combat, Bullseye can kill anyone with anything he gets his hands on. He’s killed mobsters, kings, millionaires, and super-powered beings, along with a mutant with invulnerable skin in broad daylight, in the middle of Genosha. Why? Just to prove he could.
Bullseye is also completely insane. Not just because he loves to kill, but his theories on it. He once told Norman Osborn he thought he was God’s only friend because he kills everything that God creates. He went on to say,
"“Maybe that’s the secret of religion, right? Maybe I’m the new god.”"
Bullseye is also a smartass. The jokes he makes are usually disgusting and vulgar, but they fit his personality. They help him keep his opponents off balance and disturbed. Like most nemeses, Bullseye is the opposite of Daredevil. Daredevil doesn’t believe in killing and has all of the guilt due to his Catholic upbringing. Unlike Wilson Fisk, Bullseye doesn’t believe in anything but killing. Bullseye is perfect for Netflix’s Daredevil. A villain who’s absolutely despicable. It’ll be cool to see how Daredevil reacts when Bullseye starts killing innocent people in the middle of a fight.
