Bullseye’s biggest moment
Comic Series: Dark Avengers: Assemble
Bullseye is a loner. Teams aren’t something that Bullseye has ever been good at. When he was a member of the Norman Osborn’s Thunderbolts, Bullseye was forced onto the team and threatened with death. After a ton of medication and keeping it together during the Skrull Invasion, Bullseye proved himself to be valuable to Norman Osborn. After Norman Osborn was put in charge, Osborn offered Bullseye a chance to become one of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Bullseye moved to New York City and became an Avenger.
You’d assume that Bullseye would be offered the chance to become an Avenger and tell the person to shove it where the sun don’t shine. When Bullseye was given the news, he was shocked and looked a bit excited. Bullseye doesn’t work in the public eye, but Hawkeye does. Osborn dressed up Bullseye as Hawkeye and sent him out into the world to be a hero.
Bullseye remained the psychotic killer he’s always been and became what I think was a better Hawkeye than Clint Barton. He hit all of his targets and was more aggressive than his predecessor or Katie Bishop. Sure, he doesn’t fit the Avengers mold, but he was amazing and fit the very hardcore Dark Avengers team.
