Daredevil should introduce the Shadowland storyline into this Marvel-Netflix show.

Daredevil season 3 will debut on Netflix before you know it. The end of Defenders showed Matt Murdock waking up in a bed with a nun. This is similar to the panel in Frank Miller’s Daredevil: Born Again series. Speculation has also run rampant that the Born Again series will be the story that Daredevil season 3 follows. After that, what could be the next story for this Defender?

Daredevil made his first appearance in 1964 and has had a plethora of great story arcs. The good thing about these arcs is that they don’t require a ton of CGI if they were to be adapted for a show. Even his villains (like Wilson Fisk, Typhoid Mary, and Bullseye) are characters that require more depth in character than special effects. However, there is one title that could be the perfect ending for Netflix’s DaredevilShadowland.

What is Shadowland?

After Bullseye blew up a city block (Dark Reign: The List – Daredevil), Daredevil finally had enough. He believed that the way he had been doing things no longer worked so it was time for a change, and decided to make the Hand (his mortal enemies) a force for good.

More from Opinion

Daredevil’s first real challenge came when Bullseye escaped and made his way to Hell’s Kitchen. What Bullseye didn’t know was that Hell’s Kitchen was now declared Hand territory by Daredevil. Bullseye also wasn’t aware that Daredevil was no longer playing the game they had been playing all those years.

Daredevil was now more aggressive. First, Daredevil dislocated both of Bullseye’s shoulders and then killed him the same way Bullseye murdered Elektra. Luke Cage and Iron Fist just watched as their friend broke a rule they never thought he would. Matt Murdock murdered a man. After that, everything for Daredevil went south.

Daredevil was now officially possessed by the source of the Hand’s power the demon called The Beast. That demon’s energy influenced everyone in Hell’s Kitchen making them angry and filled them with rage. If that wasn’t enough, Wilson Fisk used this as an opportunity to gain power while everyone suffered.
