Ben Affleck is out as Batman. So who will be the Caped Crusader for Matt Reeves Batman movie?

After the months of indecisiveness perpetuated by multiple reports, it’s finally official — Batfleck is no more. Early this week, it was confirmed by THR that Matt Reeves’ Batman would feature a young Bruce Wayne. Naturally, this means that Ben Affleck would longer dawn the black cape in the DCEU.

The news isn’t much of a surprise considering the amount of change going on with Walter Hamada’s DCEU. Now we’re left with the same lingering question since rumors started in late 2017. Who will play the Batman in the DCEU? Here are six actors that would make for a great Bruce Wayne in Matt Reeves film.

6. Richard Madden

Richard Madden (31) has been on the rise ever since he stared in HBO’s mega-hit series. Game of Thrones. If you haven’t seen him as Rob Stark then you wouldn’t understand why we think he’d make an excellent Batman. As Rob, when he was draped in all black, he looked like a prospective Dark Knight.

However, that’s not the only reason why he makes the list. His character was a fearless king who was honorable and commanding. Conversely, in Cinderella as the Prince, he was, well, charming. It was a far stretch from the more gritty role of Rob Stark. And it serves as an example of what he’d look like as Bruce Wayne. Madden proved that he could hold is own with one of the greatest actors in Hollywood, Idris Elba in The Take.
