Matt Reeves’ Batman is supposed to be young, but young is objective. Although Hartnett is 39 he could pull off a Batman who is still in the early stages of heroism. And he’s old enough to play the type of Batman already established in the DCEU. We’d like to see Madden take on a version of Batman where Bruce Wayne is the focus like Batman: Murderer.

The story where Bruce Wayne is accused of murder and explores his emotional disconnect from everyone as seen by Barbra Gordon. This also features Batgirl, Nightwing, and Robin. We’ll see more of Bruce Wayne than Batman and get to tap into the noir aspect as Bruce uses his detective skills.

Josh Hartnett (39) essentially left Hollywood just as his Star was rising. In the early 2000s, Hartnett was in everything. He played in Pearl Harbor, Black Hawk Down, Lucky Number, Sin City, Slevin, and 30 Days of Knight — to name a few. was He took a break from the limelight to take control of his life. For Harnett that included roles in a number of Indy films. Nevertheless, it doesn’t take away from how talented an actor he is. In fact, his latest project Oh Lucy! earned a perfect score on Rotten Tomato. Hartnett has said he regretted turning down the role for Chris Nolan Dark Knight Trilogy. We don’t think he’ll pass up on the offer again.
