Billie Lourd
Billie Lourd is up and coming with acting embedded into her DNA. Many fans know her as the daughter of Carrie Fisher but Lourd has been carving out a name for herself. If Cathy Yan’s Barbara Gordon is a fierce, absolute badass leader who butts heads with her partners, Lourd is built for the role.
In fact, she displayed the leadership on the big screen in a supporting role as Kaydel Ko Connix in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Last Jedi. As Kaydel, she worked her way up from to lieutenant serving the Resistance.
Furthermore, in American Horror Story Cult, Lourd played a damaged, deranged character as Winter. Winter was liberal to the extreme who served as one of the more dangerous characters on the show very early. Simultaneously, she also played Linda Kasabian a witness to the Manson murders showing how versatile she could be. At 25, Lourd would bring a fresh face to the role that we’d hope would allow her to tap into the darker side of Barbara Gordon, as Oracle.
