Birds of Prey: 10 actresses we’d like to see as Batgirl

Suki Waterhouse 

Besides having a cool name that rolls off your tongue, Suki Waterhouse has some pretty good acting chops. Her resumè is one that is filled with unique roles as she attempted to prove she’s more than just a pretty face.

Waterhouse’s most recent role see her shine alongside James Franco and Mika Jovoich Future World. Waterhouse plays an android who is “woke” and then rebels in search of her soul. While the movie didn’t receive critical success, Waterhouse proved she’s able to play a badass. Although, Future World was not the first time Waterhouse kicked ass on film. As a matter of fact, her role in The Bad Batch makes her an ideal candidate for Barbara Gordon.

Like Barbra, her character Arlen goes through physical and emotional trauma. Arlen gets kidnapped by cannibals who cut off her arm and leg, she survives and later takes vengeance on those who once harmed her. Waterhouse was a shining star in this dark twisted film despite being surrounded by Hollywood’s elites like Jim Carey and Keanu Reeves. Waterhouse will be toting guns and kicking ass in Assassination Nation we hope we’ll see her in Birds of Prey thereafter as Barbara or maybe even Black Canary.
