Deathstroke is no doubt one of the biggest characters to be featured in the Arrowverse. But should he be given one more appearance on Arrow?

Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke, has been a major staple of the Arrowverse since its creation back in 2012. Although he hasn’t been around as long as or as often as Green Arrow or the Flash, he is certainly one of the most important characters in the series, and we’ve seen him grow that much.

We’ve seen him grow from Oliver’s ally, to his enemy, and to his ally again at the end of season 5. The most recent time he was seen was in a pair of episodes in season 6 when Oliver helped Slade find his son.

After that though, he was written off of the show, and the season progressed without him. And the season went on to be really good, but it felt like it was missing something. That something of course being Slade Wilson, especially given the fact that he was at the center of the massive cliffhanger at the end of season 5.

However, given the fact that Deathstroke is now being featured in the DCEU, there is every chance that we may not see him again in the Arrowverse. This of course coming from his post-credits appearance at the end of last year’s Justice League.

From that, it has been rumored that Deathstroke will go on to be featured in the sequel to Justice League. Not only that, but rumor has been floating around for a while that he would also be featured in the solo Batman movie, whenever that may be.

However, Deathstroke is not a character that should simply be written out of the Arrowverse, especially given how important he has been to it. In fact, he could be considered one of the most important characters in the universe.

So if it is true, and we are losing Slade Wilson to the movie universe, then he should have a proper send-off in season 7.
