Jessica Drew has been around a lot longer than people may realize. She made her comic book debut in 1977. While she didn’t gain mainstream popularity until the 2000’s, it’s better late than not at all.
Jessica Drew has been abducted by Skrulls, been an Avenger, a member of S.W.O.R.D. (think S.H.I.E.L.D. but for space), and a solo hero. Jessica Drew can stick to walls and has enhanced strength like most of the beings in the spider-verse. What makes her really dangerous is her fighting skill. She has enough skill to take down multiple people at once.
That topped with her venom blast she projects through her hands and her pheromone control that make people fearful, attracted, or repulsed to her makes her one of the most dangerous people on this team.
In Spider-Verse, she helped by infiltrating the Inheritors base by posing as one of their servants. The training from S.H.I.E.L.D and Hydra paid off. If not for her, the Great Weaver wouldn’t have given away the scrolls necessary to defeat the Inheritors. She’s always ready to give up her life it means the safety of others. Now that she has a child, that may have changed. One thing is for sure, you don’t want to test the ability of a woman protecting their child.
Silk (Earth 616)
Cindy Moon and Peter Parker were bit by the same spider on the same day. Because of this, she shares a bond with him. When her spider powers kicked in, Ezekiel whisked her away and trained her to use her powers.
When Ezekiel found out that Morlun (one of the Inheritors) was looking for her, he locked her in a bunker where she stayed for 13 years. During the Marvel event Original Sin, Spider-Man finds out who she is and where she was at. Thinking he was doing the right thing, Peter breaks her out.
What Peter didn’t know was that the place keeping Cindy locked away was keeping the Inheritors from finding her. Killing Cindy along with two other Spider-Totems would ensure that no more Spider-Beings would ever be born.
She can track him anywhere in the multiverse. This came in handy during Spider-Verse definitely come in handy in Spider-Geddon. Silk has all of the Spider strength and agility that other Spider-Beings do. However, Silk’s webs are organic and her Spider-Sense (which she calls Silk-Sense) is more advanced than Peter’s.
