Spinneret (Earth 18119)
During Secret Wars in 2015, there is a world where Peter Parker and Mary Jane have a daughter named Annie who ended up having powers like her father Peter. Peter gave up his life as a hero in order to protect their daughter from being captured and used as a power source for a being named Regent.
While Peter was captured, Annie (going by Spiderling) and Mary Jane jumped to action to help him. Mary Jane dawned a costume that gave her powers like Peter. Unfortunately, in order to use those powers it drains some of Peter’s. Peter, Spiderling, and Spinneret currently save everyone they can. I guess the family that web-slings together stays together.
Spider-Man Noir (Earth 90214)
We all know the phrase, “With great power, there must also come great responsibility.” In this universe, Peter didn’t get that speech. What he got was, “If there is too much power, then it is the responsibility of the people to take it away.”
This gave way to Peter’s much more aggressive way of approaching crime. This is also a Spider-Man who doesn’t have the strength that the other Spider-Beings do. He also carries a revolver. He was once confronted by his Aunt while he was in costume about giving the gun to her. Peter refused give it to her. Not very Spider-Man.
When you’re born in the great depression, you have to be a little more hardcore. It also didn’t help that he saw his Uncle’s dead body. He’s the most interesting Spider-Being in this group. If anyone is going to die, he is going to be the first to go.
